My cred 💁‍♀️

SOLANA FOUNDATION (2022-Present)

Roles: Senior content strategist, content strategist

As senior content strategist (and marketing generalist) at the Solana Foundation, I help tell the story of the greater Solana ecosystem — the teams, projects, and people that make up the community. A hands-on leader that oversees a team of direct reports and freelancers, I write, edit, or previously managed: the @Solana X account (2m followers); the Solana Letter to the Ecosystem newsletter (100k subscribers); web content on solana.com and solana.org; written, video, and one-pager case studies; an internal editorial calendar; internal decks; one-off blogs; many more projects. I have also led marketing relationships and collaborative content with teams across the Solana ecosystem, ranging from Solana ecosystem-native startups like Orca to major institutional organizations like PayPal.

SOLANA LABS (2021-2022)

Roles: Content strategist

As the second marketing hire at Solana Labs, a blockchain-focused technology studio, I had a hand in many of the initiatives that helped shape the early Solana ecosytem using blogs, social media, email, and more. Some projects I was involved with include the launch of Solana Mobile and Saga, Solana Breakpoint 2021, Solana Hacker Houses, and more.

Snopes Media Group (2019-2021)

Roles: Engagement editor

I was the one-stop engagement, SEO, and distribution powerhouse for Snopes.com, the internet’s premiere fact checking resource — developing and implementing strategy during the COVID-19 infodemic and news-heavy 2020 U.S. elections. As engagement editor, I’m at the intersection of our where our audience meets our fact checks: Managing a community of 1.6M followers and group members across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn; Optimizing fact checks and news for SEO and social media best practices before they are promoted; managing the Snopes Digest, a Members-only biweekly newsletter with a roughly 40% open rate; and more. I also was heavily involved in the design and launch of the Snopes Founding Member program, the site’s first paid membership program, and remain a key figure in many other fundraising and merchandise initiatives.

The Science Friday Initiative (2014-2019)

Roles: Digital managing editor, engagement manager, community manager

I was digital managing editor for Science Friday, a public radio show with a community of 1.3M+ science enthusiasts, and oversaw a team of three other digital producers. Our work included original reporting, overseeing SciFri’s social media strategy, design, paid social campaigns, creating digital-native build outs based on radio, video, and education projects, and much more. Before taking on the digital managing editor role, I was Science Friday's single-person audience engagement team.

The Moth (2010-2014)

Roles: Digital media producer, media and communications assistant, media intern.

I was the "digital point person" at The Moth, a nonprofit dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling and producers of The Moth podcast and The Moth Radio Hour. My responsibilities included managing digital content and stories on TheMoth.org, maintaining and growing social media feeds, proposing and supervising the creation of an internal audio archive, video editing, and serving as both the media and tech support point person.
